The Cosmos rectangular tray by Kifu Paris transforms a functional accessory into a striking abstract composition. Coal and brown shagreen create a richly textured ground for irregular inserts of brown and black shell, while sweeping forms in brass with a bronze patina introduce warmth and movement. A crisp, raised brass border frames the fluid pattern, balancing its organic shapes with clean architectural lines.

The finely pebbled shagreen contrasts with the smooth shell, whose delicate mosaic seams and subtle tonal variations add depth to the design. Handcrafted with intricate inlay work, the tray brings together distinctive materials in a bold yet refined palette. Displayed on a console or used to arrange objects on a coffee table, it offers a strong decorative presence while keeping the craftsmanship in focus.
